Summer Updates

I thought maybe I should post here that no updates will be made during the summer. I keep my grandchildren in the summer so not much sewing/quilting takes place. I'm also tied up everymorning with swim lessons and swim team ......... sorry. You'll find me over at Quilting Nanny.

See you when School starts back up in late August. I miss you guys alot. (Sandy)

Quilt June 4 Meeting

Good Morning ....... Becky brought us donuts as a pre-celebration to our goodbye luncheon for Sharon.







We had a mini-class on binding today by Marilyn. She discussed widths, types (sog, bias) and sewing it onto your quilt.







Becky (right) got her quilt back from the longarm quilter. A gift for her SIL.

Today was Sharon's last day with us. She's moving to Delaware. So we made her a gift. Guess you can what kind of gift????

Isn't that an adorable doggie tote housing the surprise (yes I, Sandy, made the tote). The pattern is a take off on Terry's idea.
