April 29

We had two (2) really super treats on Wednesday. The first was Ellie's Delectable Mountain wall hanging. Thanks Ellie.

Check out Ellie's handquilting ..... it is perfect and certainly made the wall hanging.

Margee is working on her black/white with a touch of red queen size quilt. She's using Michiel's square'n'square ruler and says the ruler is wonderful. Hmmmm I need to find mine.

Check out Doris' project. She's covering clothes line with fabric to make a fabric bowl from the book, It's A Wrap. I can't wait to see the completed project.

Lucy's knitting. I forgot to ask her what she was making. The photo doesn't do the yarn and colors justice.

Now for our really big big treat. Lucy brought us some goodies to eat and drink. All I can say is if you weren't there you really missed out on some good eating ..... delicious.

Thank you Lucy.

See you next week, May 6.

April 1 ... No April Fool

Three (3) additional quilts for Gabriel Project.

Michiel and Marilyn made this king size log cabin. It will be a opportunity quilt to raise money for the local Catholic Schools.

Check this out Lucy our resident knitter has crossed over to quilting. Yea Lucy. This animal quilt will be for one of her future grandchildren.

Michiel is hand quilting her house quilt. I love that quilt.

Helen is working on a Turning Twenty.

And Margie finally has all the fabrics for her black, white and red square in a square.

See you in two (2) weeks ........ remember everyone is WELCOME to join us.

Take a look at Nancy's hand quilting .... beautiful. I can't wait to see it framed.
Mary and baby Jesus.

It's never too late to make stockings.

Becky working on a scarf. I think next year I might add knitting to my hobby list.

Helen pressing her diamonds carefully.

My own redwork Santa for 2009.

Betty is almost finished with GD's quilt.
We will meet again in 2009, January 7.
January 14 and 21 (2009) we will be making baby quilts for Gabriel Project. One of the patterns we'll use is Anita Grossman Solomon pattern Super Sized Nine Patch . This is a freebie and copy will be there for your use. Betty also has the booklet and will bring it too.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
